I’m absolutely blown away by how incredible our wedding photos turned out, especially considering the rain that pretty much poured all day. The weather was definitely unexpected, but honestly, I think it added such a unique and romantic vibe to our photos. There’s something about those moody skies and the soft, diffused light that makes everything feel so cinematic and timeless.
Our photographer did an amazing job making the most of the weather. He was quick on his feet, always finding shelter or creating beautiful moments indoors without ever missing a beat. We got some gorgeous shots under umbrellas, with raindrops glistening like little diamonds in the air, which I think ended up adding a bit of magic. And then, when the rain eased up just for a few minutes, he took us outside for some dramatic shots with the wet pavement reflecting the lights. The atmosphere was just perfect, and those moments are captured beautifully.
The candid moments, like us laughing and holding onto each other in the rain, really show the raw emotion and joy of the day. Instead of focusing on the rain as a challenge, our photographer used it to our advantage, turning it into a feature of the day rather than a setback.
I feel so grateful because these photos are just stunning. They tell the story of our day, rain or shine and I know they’ll always be a reminder of the beautiful adventure we started, despite the weather.
In the afternoon David took us back out as the Sun was dropping and shot some amazing images around the old ruins, which added yet another dynamic to our wedding photos collection.
I would recommend Line Of Sight Photography to anyone.
